Hello everyone,
We would like to thank the preschool management and mainly all teachers in the Basť preschool for their patience and kind approach to children. Thanks to the home-like atmosphere of the preschool and professional approach, we were able to register our 2-year-old daughter at a children’s collective for all-day attendance without bad conscience and concerns. At the beginning, we were little nervous because of conversation in English, but we were surprised to find that this is natural for children, and after 6 months, we can see significant results. Once more, thank you for the beautiful year that our daughter spent at your preschool, and we wish you a lot of working success and satisfied parents and children

Dear Mr. Director,
I would like to react to your statement I received regarding the slandering of Maxíkova Preschool by someone on Facebook. Mr. Director, I wanted to assure you that our son is maximally happy at the preschool. You know that our Petr is very ill, almost with no immune system, asthmatic and allergic. Therefore, we were not sure whether he should attend preschool at all. On the recommendation of a physician, we signed him up for Maxíkova Preschool because he needs to be around other children. And as I already mentioned, we are very happy. The personnel at the Bašť preschool are amazing. Petr likes all teachers (Pavla, Veronika and others). I could always be sure that if he doesn’t feel well, I will be informed in time, someone will call me, discuss the situation and decide whether I should take him home or not. When I ask the teachers, he was always given vitamins and the medications he should be taking. Not mentioning the fact that his drawing and other skills are constantly developing. I wanted to say – don’t be sad from what someone wrote. People are different. And working with adults is sometimes worse than with children. You are doing a great job. With regards,
Eva Papánková

Ivana a David Šedovi

Hello, we are the parents of David from Bašť preschool.
After several years at a state preschool when our son continuously begged if we could come to pick him up after lunch or to leave him at home, we decided to look elsewhere. We found your preschool, and right after the first visit we knew we would send our son to you. And we have. The only thing I was worried about was his acceptance of English and cooperation. And I can say that we didn’t expect such improvement. After the first 6 weeks, he knew colors, animals, basic words and various songs (he sang them during our holiday :-)) and now when he has attended the preschool more than 6 months, he knows various phrases, hundreds of words, new songs and he tries to compose sentences and one sees that he really enjoys the preschool. He wakes us in the mornings because he can’t wait to go to preschool and he wants to stay there as long as he can :-). It is a shame we didn’t put him there earlier. That is the only thing we are sorry about. Thank you very much for the kind approach and professionalism of teachers in Bašť..

Chairman of Centrum Nadání, o.s.

Dear Mr. Director,
I am sorry for the short pause in our e-mail conversation. I would like to share an observation from the first weeks of our attendance with you. I would like to mainly thank the teachers. Veronika and Jessica show active interest in games I brought into the preschool, and I think that they will really enjoy our activity MaxClever together with children. By the way, purely from a personal standpoint, I have to say that I have a very good impression regarding the teachers at your Strahov preschool. I like their pedagogical approach; one sees that they enjoy their work, and I think the children can also perceive that. They also seem to be very competent in terms of pedagogy. Our Vašík enjoys spending time with them, and he is beginning to understand English :-) Thank you for all that and for your hard work.

Zuzana Potužníková

My son (3.5 years) has been attending the Maxíkova Preschool for only 6 weeks. We were afraid of how he would react to a foreign-language environment because he likes to talk, and we couldn’t imagine what would happen. We were surprised that the language barrier was not a problem for him. After a few weeks, he used the English names of toys together with the Czech ones, and at home he even asks his younger sister to tidy her toys. He doesn’t want to leave the house in the morning, but when he arrives at preschool, he is very happy there because he learns something new every day. He has clearly improved in drawing, and when we eat, he behaves like an adult. We assume there is a friendly atmosphere at Maxíkova Preschool because our son is very fixed on home and if something wasn’t right, he would refuse to attend the preschool.
